Before your appointment
- If this is your first time getting your nails done, do some research or chat to your nail tech to see which type of nails/ products suit your need.
- Decide if you would like nail art. Send the nail artists your nail inspiration pictures beforehand to see if she/ he is skillful enough to do, so you don’t stress them out at the time you show up (and they don’t stress you out by saying no). Most importantly, they have to make sure they will have enough time to complete your design.
- Do not remove your previous nail products by ripping them off prior to coming in. This WILL damage your nails, let us remove them properly.
- This one is important! Do not apply any lotions, oils prior to your booking. This will impact product adhesion.
After your appointment
- Cuticle oil! Apply cuticle oil daily. This will keep your cuticles nourished and keep your enhancements looking newer for longer. Dehydrated nails can become brittle and separate from the acrylic.
- Remember your nails are jewels not tools! Please treat them nicely. Wear gloves when you’re cleaning with strong chemicals.
- If you experience any lifting or breaking, come see us for an immediate repair. Lifted nails are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
- Don’t pick at your nails. If you decide to remove your acrylic/ gel, please do not attempt to take them off yourself. Come in and have them soaked off gently.
- Schedule your appointment every 3 to 3.5 weeks. This is imperative to the upkeep of the nails.
