Melissa
Before joining Blush in 2022, Melissa had just quit her legal assistant job of 6 years and opened an in-home salon in her newly purchased home in Sherwood Park. She wanted to start working for herself, get back to being creative, meeting new people and making them feel amazing!
Melissa received her hairstylist license in 2011 after receiving her diploma from the Eveline Charles Academy (2010), a certificate from the Aveda Institute (2011) and completing her apprenticeship at an Aveda concept salon in Fort Saskatchewan where she worked for 4 years behind the chair.
Other than event styling with Blush, Melissa offers cuts and colours at her home salon and is passionate about big changes and bold, fun colours.
When Melissa isn’t working she’s taking care of her beautiful twin girls, spending time with her family and friends, or just relaxing curled up on the couch watching a bingeable series with her partner and their two cats… (sometimes you can even find her singing a damn good tune at karaoke 😉
